"Apparently there must be a lot of drive-by flintlock shootings in North Jersey,” says Van Gilder after being finger printed and chained up from head to toe. Van Gilder could be looking forward to 10 years in federal prison with federal chargers for possession of an antique flint lock pistol that hasn't been fired in 250. Nothing catches the eye of a gun holder like this. Van Gilder is a former teacher who enjoys the hobby of collecting antique fire arms. I found this article interesting for the fact that it goes against our rights of the 2nd amendment by taking a man to jail for possessing a fire arm that hasn't been fired since George Washington was alive. Gun rights in america have officially been criticized based on people who never used those rights correctly in the first place and it just amazes me how people could be so blind towards reality.
